Thank you for your interest in our Wilderness Cry Institute (WCI) school of ministry. I am
fully convinced that the ‘School of Ministry’ (SOM) model of discipleship is one of the best
equipping models available to young people today. For those who are ready for the ministry
adventure of their lives and are eager to say ‘yes!’ to God toward that life, I would ask you to
prayerfully consider this option.
Wilderness Cry Institute (WCI) is part of the Foursquare Emerging Leader Network
(ELN), an exciting movement that is serving this generation of young ministry leaders. As part
of this network, our program has been certified as a Foursquare school of ministry.
Wilderness Cry Institute is the first phase of Wilderness Cry Ministries (WCM) which
seeks to identify adventurous young leaders who are eager and ready to follow Christ to the lost
and unreached of the great white North. With WCI, you will grow in knowledge through Life
Pacific College certified classes. You will grow in wisdom and maturity through multifaceted
mentorship and discipleship. You will be stretched and grow in your ability to minister
dynamically to small villages, towns and settlements that are truly a part of the last frontier.
The mission of Wilderness Cry Ministries is to:
- Identify and raise up young people called to the people of The Great White North, a wilderness people.
- Grow in the knowledge of God’s Word.
- Gain real-world ministry exposure to a unique people in a unique setting.
- Develop spiritual disciplines that will fuel a lifetime of growth in the Lord.
- Experience being a vital part of a healthy, growing ministry team.
- Build lifelong relationships with friends and mentors.
- Be increasingly transformed into the likeness of Christ.
- Empower, support and release servants into ongoing full-time ministry to The Great White North in teams that will pioneer new works and churches to reach the lost.
With WCI you will go places, do things, and see sights that you never even dreamed of
seeing. You will minister in song, drama, service and sacrifice to a people who have in many
cases been all but hidden from the gospel. You will travel thousands of miles in one year with
WCI by bus, float plane and boat! You will see glaciers and majestic animals like the grizzly
bear, caribou, moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat — all in their natural habitat.
At WCM we are convinced that God’s heart for the few is just as broken and concerned as
it is for the many. Jesus as the good shepherd would leave the 99 to search out the one. I would
ask you this: do you think you might be ready for more than an adventure of a lifetime, but a
